A non-profit organization has been formed to research and educate the public about the proposal.
It is called the New Mexico Health Choices Initiative.

The Initiative will:

• Continue to collect stakeholder input and research technical aspects in detail
• Educate the public and build support for legislation
• Coordinate reform efforts with a variety of New Mexican organizations in the business, provider and advocate communities

We could use volunteers for monitoring and presenting national research and opinion; collecting personal stories from the uninsured and people or businesses burdened by high insurance costs; and writing letters or comments to local newspapers, online forums and legislators.
